On August 1-4, 2022, Joel Barish hosted the 4th DeafNation World Expo & Conference at the Bally's Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. About 15,000 Deaf individuals from all over the world, including Deaf celebrities such as Troy Kotsur, Daniel Durant, Renca Dunn, as well as Wawa went to the event. There were even roughly one hundred booths and forty-five shows, along with different Deaf businesses which sold tees, arts, and a lot more.
